Families are already using the passport. Approved Facilities give them official stamps, family tees, welcome kits, and recognition — and get found on the map.

Get recognized for the way you welcome and inspire juniors, get listed for local families, and hand your students stamps they'll keep for life.
Approve your coachingThe Circle of Impact
Kids fall in love with the game. Parents know how to nurture it. Coaches are celebrated for the way they inspire juniors. Courses are recognized for welcoming them. When all four move together, golf stops being intimidating — and starts being a game every kid can't wait to play again.
Empower Kids
Golf can be frustrating and inherently not kid friendly. We are changing that through fun and engaging programs found in every home, with every coach and at every course.
Educate Parents
From your Kids Golf Passport to free guides, resources, and games — educating parents on everything they can do to help their child fall in love with golf.
Promote Coaches
KFG Foundation gives coaches the tools to promote their education, experience and passion for coaching juniors — showing parents who their kids will be in the best hands with.
Recognize Courses
Kid Friendly Approved status that rewards the facilities treating kids like valued guests rather than unwanted ones — showing parents exactly where to go.
Golf, finally designed with your kids in mind.
Parents have always had to guess: will the staff be patient with my kid? Will we be rushed? Will we feel out of place? We started Kid Friendly Golf to take the guesswork out and put families first.

The 5 things every kid deserves at a golf course.
This is the standard we hold the game to. Parents use it to know what to look for at any course. Approved courses and coaches earn the badge by living it every day.
Every child is welcomed.
Every child deserves to be greeted with kindness, patience, and encouragement from the very first hello.
Every child is encouraged.
Golf should build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
Every child is recognized.
Every milestone matters, because children remember the moments that are celebrated.
Every family is included.
Golf should bring families together, not place barriers in their way.
Every experience is memorable.
The goal is not simply to create golfers. The goal is to create memories that last a lifetime.
The Golf Passport Program.
Every course your kid plays. Every milestone they hit. One passport. A lifetime of memories.

Municipal, private, resort, or the range down the street. Your child logs where they played, whether or not the course is in our network.
I Practiced, Made Par, Made Birdie, Broke 100, Tournament — every milestone unlocks a stamp in the dashboard.
Watch the passport fill up round after round, course after course, year after year.
Kid Friendly Approved courses and coaches make it even better — official stamps, recognition boards, welcome gifts, family tees, and passport celebrations. But the passport works everywhere, from day one.
Parents aren't just asking, "Where can my kid learn golf?"
They're asking the questions nobody at the facility hears:
"Where won't my kid get yelled at?"
"Where will my daughter feel comfortable?"
"Which course actually welcomes beginners?"
"Where are family tees?"
"Where are there other kids?"
"Where will the staff treat us like guests?"
That problem has never been solved. We're solving it.
The Michelin Guide for family golf.
Restaurants have health inspections. Hotels have stars. Golf has never had a national standard for how families are treated — so parents have been guessing. Which course will welcome my kid? Which pro is worth the drive?
We're the guide. Your family starts with the passport and plays anywhere. Courses and coaches that earn the Kid Friendly Approved™ badge are the ones we can point you to with confidence — and every family that asks for it gives more of them a reason to earn it. That's how culture changes.

Beyond Birdies: How to Help Your Child Win at Golf and Life

Dear Families,
For more than 22 years, golf has been my life's work.
I have been fortunate enough to influence junior golf around the world and to spend my career helping young players discover everything this game has to offer — founding and directing the International Preparatory Golf Academy in Bangkok, Thailand, serving as a PGA professional for the past 20 years, coaching thousands of junior golfers, helping more than 50 young players earn Division I scholarships, even coaching 2-time US Women's Open Champion Yuka Saso in her high school years, and writing Beyond Birdies: How to Help Your Child Win at Golf and Life.
The future of golf will not be determined by how many children learn to swing a golf club. It will be determined by how many children fall in love with the game.
Children remember how they felt, not what they were told. They remember making their first par, collecting their first stamp, the coach who encouraged them, and the moments they shared with their families. Most of all, they remember whether they felt that they belonged.
- We believe every child deserves to be welcomed.
- Every child deserves to be encouraged.
- Every child deserves to be recognized.
- Every family deserves to be included.
- And every positive experience should become a lifetime memory.
Because every child remembers how they were welcomed.
